Classic Car Addict would like to present this 2008 Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD LTZ Duramax crew cab 4x4 in our Mesa, AZ showroom. This is a custom hand painted truck with a new Duramax diesel engine, new built transmission, straight front axel conversion, Kelderman 4-link, air-ride, custom leather interior, Alpine navigation, Focal speakers and so much more. This is not your average 2008 LTZ this is a full SEMA showtruck with documentation. EXTERIOR The body received a complete redo with the addition of a Royalty Core custom grille, Trail Ready front and rear bumpers with PIAA 4 and 6-inch lights mounted in the front, and Vision X-lights mounted in the rear. Blacked-out headlights and taillights, front fenders that were stretched 3 inches and rear fenders that were flared out 1.5 inches, with a curved 52-inch lightbar mounted on the windshield and a 20-inch lightbar mounted on the bumper. The truck has a paint scheme that gives a nod to the armed service. The paint was shot over the whole surface, and added black lines with careful multi-directional sanding, the look of a WWII bomber took shape. Paint job was done by Jerry at Jerk’s Design; custom gun metal gray with over 2,000 hand painted rivets (each rivet was a three-step process). INTERIOR Forty pieces have been removed from the interior, sanded, and painted to match the truck. The gauges were restyled with a set from US Speedo, the steering wheel hoop was replaced with a Grant wheel while retaining the stock inner portion, the seat skins were swapped with suede and leather from Classic Soft Trim leather with a custom logo, leather and suede inserts covers the doors, while a gunmetal suede headliner rounded things out. The stereo could wake the dead with an Alpine X009-GM head unit, two downward facing Bass Box for 12-inch subs, two 12-inch Rockford’s under the seats with a Focal 900.1 mono amp, two Focal 900.6 six channel amps, with Focal 3.5- and two 6-inch mids in each door. POWERTRAIN The Duramax was already pumping out horsepower but with the addition of an Injen cold air intake, a healthy tune from Motiva and a reworking of the turbocharger, and a 5-inch Ansa turbo-exhaust that has no mufflers and dumps over the top of the rear end. This bumped the numbers to 500 hp and 850 lb-ft of torque. The truck is outfitted with Amp Research power steps, MSD digital propane injection, ANSA dual exhaust, a PPE programmer, an Injen cold air system, Air Flex air suspension, Helwig sway bars, a FASS fuel lift pump/filter system, and a Transfer Flow 56-gallon fuel tank. CHASSIS The suspension was the first to be addressed with Kelderman air springs, a Kelderman four-link setup (front and rear), and an Accuair system giving you a choice of three different heights all the way up to 13 inches at its peak. Fox 2-inch reservoir shocks were added to go with the 3-inch body lift. Hellwig sway bars in the front and a custom rear sway bar helped to smooth things out. A Dana 60 staright front axle was added to strengthen the only weak point of the suspension and with all the adjustable components make this 9,000-pound beast ride smooth. This truck rolls on BMF Novakane wheels, 40x50.5 with brand new Toyo open country M/T tires. DOCUMENTATION/EXTRAS Receipts and documents will also come with the truck.
