Classic Car Addict is excited to present this one owner 2004 Porsche 911 Turbo convertible Cabriolet with 6,513 miles for sale in our Mesa, AZ showroom. Not since the days of the legendary Porsche 930 has Porsche offered a turbocharged cabriolet.....until now. For the 2004 model year, the Porsche 911 Turbo Cabriolet takes its place beside the awesome Porsche 911 Turbo Coupe in the company's model lineup. Porsche fans will have no trouble distinguishing this Turbo Cabriolet from lesser 911 drop tops. Like the Turbo Coupe, the Cab sports large grilles in the front air dam and intercooler intake ports ahead of the rear wheel wells. Its rear fenders are widened 2.4 inches to accommodate massive rear rubber. It has the same outflow vents in the skirt behind the rear wheels, and the same two-stage active rear wing as in the fixed-head coupe. This is a black soft top convertible that makes this a sleek coupe. But with a touch of a button, it disappears. The gray leather interior with black and silver trim does a nice job of coordinating tones with the gray exterior. It’s hard to not love the premium inserts throughout the interior. You’re loaded with all the best features, like power seats, power windows, power locks, keyless entry, AM/FM/6-disc CD stereo with navigation and Bose speakers. There's the best in safety with front airbags, side airbags, and anti-lock brakes. Plus, dual zone automatic climate control and heated seats means both you and you passenger can individually dial in your level of comfort all year long. The difference is at the top. The Cab’s soft-top is fully automatic, operated via a switch on the console or key in the door lock, and it raises completely in 20 seconds The Coupe’s drivetrain carries over, too. The 3.6-liter boxer-six has dry-sump lubrication and twin, intercooled turbos in parallel, delivering peak boost of 1.8 bar (nearly 26 psi). That 420 hp comes at 6000 rpm. Peak torque is steady at 413 lb-ft between 2700 and 4600 rpm, thanks largely to Porsche’s VarioCam Plus, which adjusts both valve timing and lift on the intake side. The Turbo Cabriolet is offer-ed with a five-speed Tiptronic automatic. Porsche’s AWD system adds 110 pounds to the Turbo’s weight, and the default torque split is an enthusiast-oriented 5 percent to the front wheels. Maximum torque distribution to the front wheels is 40 percent. Complete with owner's manual and maintenance records, you might never get another chance at such an affordably priced Porsche ever again. If you love distinct convertibles with plenty of power, don't miss this 911 Turbo. Call us today at 480-256-1459.
