Classic Car Addict is excited to present this 1998 Ford Mustang GT for sale in our Mesa, AZ showroom. This Mustang only has 16,368 miles, that averages 655 miles per year. The GT was essentially a sport appearance package on the original Mustang and, since 1982, has been the mainstream performance variant. Compared to third-gen Mustangs, this GT has much better ergonomics and feels tighter. The current 4.6 liter offers a truly refined performance. This Ford has all tan leather interior. It has all power options, leather seats, cruise control, power convertible top, and a four-speed electronic automatic overdrive transmission. The power convertible top goes up and down quickly. But the car's big windshield is placed very close to front-seat occupants and thus robs some of the ''open-air'' feel during top-down driving. As with all Mustangs, the racy looking GT has just average front room for two tall occupants. This interior is in PERFECT condition, no stains, no rips, etc. The Laser Red Tinted clearcoat E9 is in excellent condition. The new pony featured a more elegant silhouette of curvy lines, broader rear quarters, and taillights reminiscent of the original American pony car during the 1960s. Once more, the fastback profile was back again, paying tribute to the 1965-1973 Mustang models. This Mustang is equipped with the passive anti-theft system, now called Securilock. It has a remote keyless entry system with a panic alarm and key fob. The 1998 Mustang GT came with 16-inch cast aluminum wheels, lower valance integrated fog lamps, single rear wing spoiler, racing cloth front bucket seats, leather wrapped steering wheel, optional upgraded rear axle, optional Mach 460 sound system, and the 225hp 4.6L SOHC V8 engine. The 1998 Mustang chassis is essentially the same as the 1979 Mustang. It has been reinforced to make the car handle more crisply, steer more accurately, and deal with road shocks more effectively.
