Classic Car Addict is proud to present this turbo diesel 1994 1/2 Ford F250 XLT extended cab 4WD long bed for sale in our Mesa, AZ showroom. A significant portion of the 7.3L Power stroke engine's impressive performance specs are attributed to direct fuel injection via Hydraulic electric unit injectors (HEUI injectors). These new injectors were partnered with a high-pressure oil pump and a low-pressure fuel lift pump. This engine also uses a fixed geometry turbocharger that was significantly more capable than the unit found on 7.3 IDI engines. Late model 7.3s even received an air-to-air intercooler for improved performance because of a larger supply of cold, dense air. We saw plenty of these F-Series trucks on the road over the last twenty-five years. The styling that mixed tough truck squareness and the rounded aerodynamic touches, really resonated with pickup people. The problem is that today, there are not too many of these iconic work trucks around that haven't seen a hard life and hundreds of thousands of miles. The F-250 was a workhorse, so the few that you do find are often extremely far from the condition they left the showroom in; but this truck is the one diamond in the rough. Recently repainted two-tone Medium Palomino Metallic and Light Santa Fe Metallic is in outstanding condition. The inside is also like a refreshing time capsule. The Mocha Tan cloth bucket seats show almost no signs of wear. It has a center console that offers space for storage and cup holders. The XLT Lariat is the premium trim level with the F-Series. The back seat of this extended cab is perfect for everything from carrying extra passengers to secured storage. Another great part of a loaded truck like this is that it comes with just about everything, power windows, power door locks, and an upgraded touchscreen head unit with subwoofer and amp installed. And you have the rear sliding glass open to get the old-school truck breezes any time of year, because the cold air conditioning will always keep the cab nice and cool. New spray in bedliner was completed February of 2023. The massive 7.3-liter V8 already has a reputation for being powerful and bulletproof. So, when these have the ability of going to the moon and back, you realize that this is quite low mileage on this original motor. And the clean condition of the engine bay that still contains its original decals lets you know that this F-250 was never a mud slinger. But if you do go off-road this one is equipped just the way you'd want it. It has a two-speed 4x4 transfer case, tall ground clearance, manual-locking hubs, and enough torque to move a cabin. But even when you just stay on the pavement, this is an attractive package. Plus, with power steering and front disc brakes, this is a true anytime driver. Complete with the original owner's manual, receipts and much more, you're looking at a truck that's original inside and out. But survivor-grade status does not keep this one from earning its keep.
