The Chevrolet Corvette (C3) is the third generation of the Corvette sports car that was produced from 1967 until 1982 by Chevrolet for the 1968 to 1982 model years. The C3 is the third generation of the Chevrolet Corvette and marks the second time the Corvette would carry the Stingray name, though only for the 1969–76 model years. This time it was a single word as opposed to Sting Ray as used for the 1963–67 C2 generation. The name would then be retired until 2014 when it returned with the release of the C7. The cabin is upholstered in saddle with color-coordinated carpets and interior trim. Woodgrain trim adorns the center console and door panels. Additional amenities include air conditioning, power windows and an upgraded Sony head unit (AM, FM, CD). A three-spoke steering wheel frames a 160-mph speedometer and a tachometer, while a suite of supplementary gauges and an analog clock are housed within the center stack. The five-digit odometer shows 31,922 miles. The Corvette was finished in White (10L) from the factory and was repainted Medium Red Metallic under previous ownership. Features include pop-up headlights, a front-hinged domed hood, side mirrors, and new Stingray side exhaust. The 18 American racing wheels are mounted with 235/40ZR18 tires. The car features a four-wheel independent suspension and stopping power is provided by four-wheel ventilated discs. The Corvette features an upgraded 6.6L V8 from a Monte Carlo with Edelbrock intake, new hoses, aluminum radiator, and a new carburetor. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a three-speed automatic transmission. Additional upgrades include new sway bars. The Corvette will be sold on a clean Arizona title.
