Classic Car Addict would like to present this 1972 Chevrolet El Camino with 24,054 miles for sale in our Mesa, AZ showroom. This 1972 El Camino has been upgraded to that muscle car/pickup with a performance 350 V8. It was built at GM’s VanNuys, CA plant. For almost the entirety of its history, there was only one model of the El Camino available, though Chevy made this fact attractive by providing a slew of different options. Let’s dive into this one and see what it’s all about! EXTERIOR The 1972 El Camino got fresh front-end styling (again shared with the Chevelle) that included large Power-Beam single-unit headlights, a reworked grille and bumper, and integral park/signal/marker lights. It had a repaint in 2016 to Torch Red #9075 and PPG Black #9000 with base and clear coat. The aggressive red is such an awesome color on any El Camino, but it will attract attention. But let’s not forget those awesome SS striping on the hood, it really makes this El Camino look intimidating! INTERIOR This El Camino interior is near flawless; no rips, tears, or stains can be found. Bench seats, door panels, center console and dash have a clean style. It features Light Saddle cloth and vinyl with “The Heartbeat of America” emblems throughout the interior seats and has the Chevy bowtie on the doors. As well as new black carpet. Original push button Delco radio, and console shift with GM staple shifter. Additional upgrades are a Sunpro Sport RPM gauge, and auto gauges for oil, volts, and water temp. All gauges work properly. POWERTRAIN 350 CID V8 engine (12496968 build date of 04/03/03), 750 double pumper carb, TH350 automatic transmission, Flowmaster American Thunder exhaust, power steering, power disc brakes, and a 12 bolt posi-traction rear differential. It fires up readily and sounds strong. This beauty is ready to hit the streets or showoff at the local cruise nights. CHASSIS The 116-inch wheelbase that all 1970-1972 El Caminos utilized came courtesy of their boxed-rail perimeter frames with welded front and rear cross-members. This heavy-duty frame was shared with station wagons and is interchangeable with those underpinning 1968-1972 wagons and El Caminos. It rides on WELD Racing rims, BF Goodrich P246/60R/15 on front and P255/60/R15 on the rear. DOCUMENTATION/EXTRAS This El Camino comes with sales literature, receipts, catalogs and two sets of keys. This vehicle will be sold on a clean Arizona title. Be sure to check out 170+ HD photos and video at ww.classiccaraddict.com.
